Why quality teams choose Labcal

One UKAS schedule covering every parameter you measure

Three reasons quality managers, metrologists and procurement teams consolidate their calibration with Labcal.

01

Six parameters, one accredited supplier

Gas and air flow, liquid flow, pressure, temperature, humidity and air velocity are all held on one UKAS schedule under Lab 0625. Consolidate your programme with a single accredited supplier instead of splitting it across several labs and certificate formats.

02

Audit-ready, traceable certificates

Every certificate carries documented uncertainty of measurement and a traceability chain back to national standards. Labcal supports customers operating under ISO 9001, GMP and similar quality frameworks that require UKAS-accredited evidence.

03

Fast, predictable turnaround

Average turnaround is 8 working days from receipt at our Lymington laboratory, with a 3-day fast-track available by arrangement. We can arrange courier collection for high-volume or regular customers.

Common Questions

What calibration buyers ask most

Straight answers to the questions quality managers and procurement teams ask before choosing a UKAS calibration laboratory.

Which parameters does Labcal calibrate?

Labcal calibrates across six parameters under UKAS Lab 0625: gas and air flow, liquid flow, pressure, temperature, humidity and air velocity. This covers flow meters, pressure gauges and transducers, digital thermometers, temperature and humidity probes, data loggers, anemometers and pitot tubes.

Are all six parameters UKAS-accredited?

Yes. All six parameters are held on Labcal’s UKAS schedule under Lab 0625, accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017. You can calibrate instruments across several parameters with one supplier and one certificate format, rather than splitting the work between labs.

Do I send my instruments to you, or do you visit site?

Calibration is carried out at our Lymington laboratory. You send your instruments to us, and we can arrange courier collection for high-volume or regular customers. Turnaround begins when instruments arrive at the lab.

How long does calibration take?

Average turnaround is 8 working days from receipt of instruments at our Lymington laboratory. A 3-day fast-track service is available by arrangement for urgent requirements. Turnaround time begins when instruments arrive at the lab, not when you send them.

What is the difference between traceable and UKAS-accredited calibration?

Traceable calibration means the calibration chain can be traced back to national measurement standards, but it carries no guarantee about the quality of the laboratory performing the work. UKAS accreditation adds an independent technical assessment of the laboratory itself, verifying its equipment, processes, staff competence and quality management system meet ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements.
