Who we are
Calibration accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017
Labcal operates from a dedicated laboratory at Ampress Park in Lymington, Hampshire. We hold UKAS accreditation under Lab 0625 across six measurement parameters, which means our equipment, processes, staff competence and quality system have been independently assessed against ISO/IEC 17025:2017. As an independent laboratory, we calibrate instruments from any manufacturer.
01
Six parameters under one laboratory number
Gas and air flow, liquid flow, pressure, temperature, humidity and air velocity, all accredited under UKAS Lab 0625. Customers consolidate calibration with one provider instead of splitting work across several labs.
02
Specialist capability
We hold specialist low and differential pressure capability that is not available at most UKAS laboratories, air velocity calibration in wind tunnels up to 70 m/s, and ultra-low gas flow from 0.025 mL/min.
03
Documented traceability on every certificate
Every UKAS certificate states the expanded measurement uncertainty (k=2) and traceability to national measurement standards, with as-found and as-left data. Exactly what regulated quality systems expect from externally calibrated instruments.
What we calibrate
Every calibration under one UKAS schedule
Six accredited parameters, performed at our Lymington laboratory. No split shipments, no mixed certificate formats.

Common questions
What calibration buyers ask us
Straight answers to the questions quality and procurement teams ask before choosing a UKAS calibration laboratory.
What is UKAS calibration and why does it matter?
UKAS calibration means your instruments are calibrated by a laboratory independently assessed and accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service to ISO/IEC 17025:2017. Regulated industries require UKAS-accredited certificates for audit compliance. Labcal is accredited under Lab 0625.
Which instruments can Labcal calibrate?
Labcal calibrates instruments across six parameters under UKAS Lab 0625: gas and air flow, liquid flow, pressure, temperature, humidity and air velocity. As an independent laboratory, we calibrate instruments from any manufacturer.
How long does calibration take?
Average turnaround is 8 working days from receipt of instruments at our Lymington laboratory. A 3-day fast-track service is available by arrangement. We can arrange courier collection for high-volume or regular customers.
Can I switch to Labcal from my current calibration lab?
Yes. Send us your most recent calibration certificate and we will quote a like-for-like service matching your existing scope, parameters and tolerances. No retraining for your quality team and no switching cost.
Where is Labcal based?
Labcal’s laboratory is at Ampress Park in Lymington, Hampshire. Customers across the UK send instruments to us by courier, and we can arrange collection for high-volume or regular customers. International customers are supported through the same courier network.
What information is on a Labcal calibration certificate?
Each UKAS calibration certificate states the measured value, the deviation from the reference standard and the expanded measurement uncertainty at every calibrated point, together with the traceability of the reference standards used. Certificates are issued under UKAS Lab 0625 to ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
Can Labcal calibrate older or discontinued instruments?
Yes. Our engineers calibrate the latest devices right through to legacy instruments and systems still in active service. If the original manufacturer no longer offers calibration support, contact us and we will confirm whether we can accommodate the instrument.
