What calibration do MHRA inspectors typically check in a pharma manufacturing audit?
MHRA inspectors most commonly request calibration records for temperature probes in stability chambers and cold storage, humidity sensors in cleanrooms, differential pressure gauges on airlocks, and air velocity in LAF cabinets and fume hoods. All of these fall within Labcal’s UKAS scope under Lab 0625.
Can Labcal handle temperature mapping probe calibration for cold chain validation?
Yes. We regularly calibrate temperature mapping probes used in cold chain validation work, including multi-point probe sets for chambers, freezers and transport qualification studies. Each probe receives an individual UKAS certificate with full uncertainty data, ready for inclusion in validation reports.
Can you collect instruments from our pharmaceutical facility?
Yes. We can arrange courier collection from your site to our Lymington laboratory for high-volume or regular customers. For pharmaceutical sites with critical instruments that can’t go offline indefinitely, we can also discuss approaches around scheduling and rotation using your spare or reference instruments.
