Labcal provides expert single or multi-point calibration and adjustment for velocity sensors, probes and anemometers, including devices with integrated or handheld displays.
Our service supports routine verification, compliance requirements and full adjustment where required, helping you maintain confidence in air velocity measurement across critical environments.
0.1 m/s to 80 m/s.
We are equipped with multiple wind tunnels for air speed calibration, allowing us to accommodate a wide range of instruments. For very low uncertainty measurements, we also offer optional Laser Doppler Anemometer (LDA) calibration.
If you are unsure whether your instrument falls within scope, our team will be happy to advise.
We regularly calibrate a broad range of instruments used to measure air velocity, including:
Vane anemometers
Pitot tubes
Hotwire anemometers
If your instrument type is not listed, please contact us and we will confirm suitability.
We routinely calibrate instruments from manufacturers including:
Airflow, ATP, Dwyer, Fluke, Kestrel, RS, Testo, TSI and others.
Our team has experience across a wide range of brands and models, including legacy systems still in active service.
We provide independent air velocity calibration services to customers across a wide range of industries, including:
Pharmaceutical and medical manufacturing
Aerospace and defence
HVAC and building services
Research and laboratory environments
Food and beverage production
Accurate air velocity measurement is critical for system performance, regulatory compliance and environmental control.
With a highly experienced team of calibration engineers, Labcal provides a reliable and technically robust air velocity calibration service. Our engineers have the knowledge and experience to calibrate the latest devices right through to legacy instruments and systems.
Where required, calibration is supported by our ISO/IEC 17025 UKAS-accredited laboratory, providing confidence in the accuracy and traceability of results.
Labcal is listed on the UKAS website (laboratory number 0625).
If you require air velocity calibration, speak to our team for advice or request a quotation.
Provide your instrument details and required range and we will confirm scope, turnaround time and pricing.
Standard turnaround times are typically 3–10 working days, depending on instrument type and calibration requirements. A 3-day expedited service is available by arrangement.
