This wind tunnel provides a very stable velocity which enables Labcal to calibrate a wide range of instruments. As a closed loop tunnel with an open test section, it is particularly suitable for calibrating pitot tubes, hot wire probes and vane anemometers up to 38 m/sec. The tunnel can also be used with our LDA (laser Doppler anemometer) which provides the lowest measurement uncertainty for velocity measurements. When combined with our other wind tunnels we can calibrate across the range 0.1 to 80 m/sec. Right through from the pharmaceutical industry to heating and ventilation, we can calibrate your equipment.
